How much experience does each stylist have?

Each Doorbell Salon provider is a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Connecticut (or the state in which services are performed). Our team is hand-selected and highly experienced, with a minimum of 10 years in the beauty industry. In addition to their professional licenses, all providers complete our internal training program focused on sanitation, client care, and on-location service standards.

Can I request a specific stylist?

Yes! We will always do our best to accommodate returning clients with the same stylist, as long as scheduling allows. Please note: all services are pre-booked, and specific providers may vary by availability.

How far will Doorbell Salon travel?

We are based in Fairfield County, CT, and currently serve clients throughout the county. For services outside this region—especially for weddings, productions, or medical-based in-home care—please reach out in advance to confirm availability.

Does the stylist wash my hair?

No. To ensure safety and efficiency, we ask that your hair is freshly washed and damp prior to your appointment, especially for blowouts or haircuts.

Is Doorbell Salon insured & bonded?

Yes, Doorbell Salon's holding company, Doorbell Barbers, LLC, is fully insured & bonded. 

Can I book my appointments in advance?

Yes! All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our secure online booking platform. Simply click “Book Now” to select your date and time. We do not accept walk-ins or on-demand bookings.

How do I prepare for my haircut?

Grab a seat and relax.  All we ask is that you position your chair in an area where our stylist will have easy access to an outlet and ample lighting. Please have your hair freshly washed and damp if your booking a signature blowout or haircut. 

Do we clean up the hair after the haircut?

Absolutely. We lay a protective mat beneath your chair and ensure your space is clean and tidy before we leave.Our team follows state-mandated sanitation protocols for tools, surfaces, and disposal.

Can I purchase your services as a gift for somebody? 

Yes, you can purchase gift cards here. We will send you a digital copy, no one will know how much you spent and the certificates are valid for 1 year. 

What is your cancellation policy?

If you’d like to cancel your appointment please contact us within 24 hours of your service for a full refund. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the service charge.
