How much experience does each stylist have?
Each Doorbell Salon stylist is a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Connecticut and has also gone through our own training program.
Can I request a specific stylist?
Doorbell Salon will make every attempt to make sure you get the same stylist each time unless there is a prior scheduling conflict. Our goal is to bring you are services on your time & schedule.
How far will Doorbell Salon travel?
We are located centrally in Fairfield County, CT and service all of Fairfield County. Please contact us directly for requests outside of these parameters.
Does the stylist wash my hair?
No, we ask that your hair is freshly washed and damp prior to service.
What if I'm not happy with the service?
We offer 100% refunds to unsatisfied customers because we want you to be happy. No questions asked.
Is Doorbell Salon insured & bonded?
Yes, Doorbell Salon's holding company, Doorbell Barbers, LLC, is fully insured & bonded.
I want to buy the products you used on my hair but can't find them.
The majority of products we use are industry specific, and they can be pricey and challenging to find. We are in the process of building an online store to purchase directly from Doorbell Salon.
Can I book my appointments in advance?
Yes, Doorbell Salon has partnered with Acuity Scheduling to make the process seamless and efficient. Just click on "Book Now" and pick your time and date.
How do I prepare for my haircut?
Grab a seat and relax. All we ask is that you position your chair in an area where our stylist will have easy access to an outlet and ample lighting. Please have your hair freshly washed and damp if your booking a signature blowout or haircut.
Do we clean up the hair after the haircut?
Yes, Doorbell Salon brings in a portable Dyson vacuum to clean up after the service is completed along with laying down a cloth below the chair.
Can I purchase your services as a gift for somebody?
Yes, you can purchase gift cards here. We will send you a digital copy, no one will know how much you spent and the certificates are valid for 1 year.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you’d like to cancel your appointment please contact us within 24 hours of your service for a full refund. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late to your appointment please email us. If you are more than 25 minutes late to your appointment without informing us, you will be charged the full amount and need to reschedule. If you cancel your appointment within 6 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 50% of the service charge.
