Tape-In Extensions
Thin, flat wefts that sit flush against your natural hair. They're lightweight and comfortable, and the quickest to install, so they make a perfect first set.

Payment & Ordering
- Hair is paid in full when ordered. It’s custom color-matched and becomes your property.
- A 50% non-refundable installation retainer reserves your date. The balance and gratuity are due at your appointment.
- Your hair extension agreement is signed before your hair is ordered.
- The $95 in-home consult is credited toward installs booked within 30 days.
Shipping & Hair
- Hair ships to your stylist, typically in 5–10 business days. Standard shipping is included.
- Need it sooner? Expedited shipping is $40 when stock allows.
- Every pack is inspected for shade and quality before install day.
- Because hair is color-matched and hygienic, it can’t be returned once ordered. If you postpone, we hold it for up to 60 days.
Cancellations
- Installs: with 72+ hours’ notice, your retainer transfers to a new date once.
- Install cancellations within 72 hours, or no-shows, owe the full installation fee.
- Move-ups & removals: 24 hours’ notice, or 50% of the service is charged.
- Going more than 8 weeks between move-ups may add time and cost, and risks your natural hair. Only a certified stylist should adjust or remove your extensions.

Extension FAQ
Yes. Julianne brings everything: the Bellami color ring, tools, lighting, cape and clean-up. Any room with good natural light and a comfortable chair works. Travel is included anywhere in Fairfield County.
Your total is the installation fee plus the hair. Installs start at $250 for a tape-in volume boost, $425 for a full tape-in, $650 for one row of hand-placed wefts and $950 for a full K-tip or I-tip. Hair is billed at Bellami Professional’s published retail price, and most full installs land between $1,050 and $3,200 all-in. Try the estimator for your own ballpark.
It depends on your density, how you wear your hair and how much upkeep you want. Tape-ins are the easiest first set. Wefts give the most volume for medium to thick hair. K-tips and I-tips move strand by strand, so they work for high ponytails. Clip-ins are best if you only want extra hair for events. Julianne will recommend one at your consult.
With move-ups every 6–8 weeks, Bellami hair typically lasts around 6 months for tape-ins and wefts and 3–5 months for K-tips and I-tips. Tape-ins, wefts and I-tips can often be reused through several move-ups, which lowers your ongoing cost.
The 20-minute Zoom consultation is complimentary. The in-home consultation and color match is $95, credited in full toward your installation if you book within 30 days.
Properly sized, placed and maintained extensions should not damage healthy hair. Julianne assesses your hair first and will recommend a lighter method, or no extensions at all, if your hair isn’t ready. Skipping move-ups is the most common cause of damage, which is why we make maintenance easy by coming to you.
Book your consult at least 10–12 weeks before the wedding. We install six to eight weeks out so your extensions are settled and blended, then do a tightening move-up the week of. We’ll coordinate with your Doorbell Salon wedding-morning team.
Yes, they’re 100% human hair. Heat-style with a protectant and avoid bleaching. If you want to change your color, talk to Julianne first, because re-matching is usually better than coloring the extensions.
Removal is a quick appointment ($150–$250 depending on method). Reusable hair is yours to keep, and it can often be reinstalled later if it’s in good condition and was worn for less than six months.
